Hi Joanne and Al. You are going to love Greece!! September is perfect. We were there three years ago this September/October. Athens is interesting because of all the history but the real magic is outside of Athens. Meteora is amazing along with Santorini Island (8 hours too and 10 hours back by boat). If we go back I would like to explore more of the Peloponnese areas. We visited Corinth,Mycenae, Epidavros, and Nafplio. I would of liked to have visited the lousios Gorge, Patra, and Monemvasia.
