In this photograph I wanted the viewer to forget about viewing a hosta plant but concentrate on the beautiful forms and textures.

This photograph was taken at a antique shop in Morris Connecticut. I think this would make a very cool necklace except for it’s weight.

I’ve seen many birch trees but not one with such an amazing texture to the bark.
